Tata motors formally known as TELCO is an Indian multinational automotive manufacturing company that has its headquarters in Mumbai, India. TATA Motors acquired the ownership of the South Korean truck manufacturer Daewoo in 2004 and the British car maker Jaguar Land Rover in 2008. In 1998 TATA launched the first fully Indian passenger car, the Indica which is largely responsible for the massive growth of TATA motors.
