The general term “fighting” can refer to any violent conflict between individuals. Fighting is a purposeful violent conflict meant to weaken, establish dominance over, or to drive the opposition in believing that your point is far more sensible than his. It may downgrade your relationship or may ruin it for worse but you have to be capable enough to find a solution to it before it gets on your nerves and creates a permanent rift. ‘;And it actually depends on your willingness to stop it. The fight actually never gives you a solution rather increases the situation further so the best method is to prevent the fight in some or the other way. But its impossible to avoid a fight because you always know it from inside that the person standing in front of you is a fool and has bizaare thoughts you don’t really understand .
10. PRETEND AS IF YOU DON’T CARE:
This would be a very difficult thing to do specially at a point when you want to teach the other person a lesson and want to so eagerly make a point. It would just becomes so obligatory to prove yourself right but this time you have to take a different route and pretend to ignore the topic as if you don’t care, though you really do!
9.AVOID TOPICS YOU KNOW THE OTHER PERSON CAN’T DIGEST:
Though this may seem like the best way to win the fight and feel contended , this actually proves to be a good way to avoid a fight. There are topics you know would hurt your friend, avoiding them can avoid a fight.
8. START A TOTALLY UNRELATED TOPIC:
Now you have to really have that skill to distract yourself as well as your fighter by picking up a topic that is as attractive as to pull you away from that fight and calm you down! This may seem harsh specially in such a position when you are fighting at the top of your voice but seems like a good way. you have to console yourself that fighting will definitely give you no solution and that you have to stop this fight somehow or the other.
7.SAY THAT YOU WILL DISCUSS THE TOPIC SOMEDAY LATER BUT NEVER SHOW UP:
You have to make the person believe that you were attempting to blend your ideas with theirs and have decided to rethink the matter!!! This has to be said very convincingly because if spoken in an entirely wrong or unconvincing manner, it can lead to another fight which may make the situation even worse. This generally happens in such a situation when you know fighting on this subject will take you nowhere and so it is advisable to just shut this argument. the argument may create problems and differences if not shut right at the moment.
6. TAKE A DEEP BREATH AND CONTROL YOUR ANGER:
“Anger” apparently is that component which results in your casual “discussion” ultimately turning out to be an “argument”. You might not even realise but its your anger which actually irritates your friend beyond tolerance!! And guess what?? This becomes the real reason why you can’t sit and discuss the matter amicably.
5. AND BEHOLD !! THE 3 MAGIC WORDS!!
“Sorry” to avoid a fight;
“Please” to never get into a fight!!
These three magic words will no doubt bring you out of the fight but it only helps if you have the ability to console yourself to be adamant enough to say them!!
4. BROADEN YOUR HORIZON TOWARDS OTHERS!
Its not always that the fight is because of the other person standing right in front of you, So you have to for once believe that it might be your mistake! “ Being flexible” is what this point explains! This might seem the easiest way to avoid a fight, BUT ALAS! It is not. What you are required to do is open up your mind to new ideas which may oppose your beliefs but may actually be the right thing to do at the moment.
3. DONT LET YOUR “EGO” RUIN YOU!
Ego is something that is bound to interfere in all possible ways. It opposes your ability to think rationally. It demands your dominance over the subject even though you might entirely be wrong at that very moment! And the worst part is, that you don’t even realise it , because its your ego ruling at the moment and not you yourself!
2. REMAIN SILENT!
Remaining silent would probably be the worst solution for a person like me, bound to be out spoken and loud BUT trust me! It is undoubtedly the best method to avoid a fight. This gives both of you a way to calm down! Also you don’t end up saying anything that you later regret ; while letting the other person believe that you are trying to understand and bend towards their ideas. Always remember, Words can only be forgiven, not forgotten!
1. COUNT TILL 10 AND IGNORE!!
This is by far the best method of avoiding a fight and it is something that you can actually do and be successful at. This finally cools you down and gives you a chance to rethink on the topic and also prevents you from saying regretful words! So please stop fighting because;
