There will be times when you experience the extremities of happiness yet there are also times when you’re let down. Life has its own ways of testing you and you have no choice but to deal with all that comes your way. Everyone gets their share of tough situations in life but you don’t have to feel hopeless. 10. OPEN YOURSELF UP

When you’re going through what we call a tough situation, sharing your grieve with someone may heal your pain. Talk yourself out to someone that you trust. Get your heart rid of all the turmoil that it’s been going through lately. Trust me, it’s worth it. You might not come out with a solution for it but at least you’ll feel a whole lot better.

9. BE POSITIVE

At times like these, you need to keep your mind in a positive state to avoid any negativity from harboring it. Letting negative thoughts in when you’re already in the midst of a trauma might worsen things. You might end up feeling all the more depressed. So you should carry a positive attitude to feel a bit brave. Keep yourself intact and believe that nothing can demolish you. Be strong!!!

8. KEEP YOURSELF BUSY

Involving yourself in a hectic schedule might help you in forgetting all the troubles that surround you. Try not sitting ideal because then you just concentrate on all the bad stuff and keep pondering over it which doesn’t help either. Be it work or anything else, just keep doing something. If your mind is occupied with something or the other it will for once get a chance to relieve itself from all the stress. This sure does help.

7. CHANGE OF PLACE

Sometimes a change of place may help too. When you travel to a whole new place and stay in a completely different environment from where you’re staying now, you heal yourself up a little as you find yourself far away from all the hardships that you’ve just left behind. So take a vacation to any place that you like. Perhaps you can even visit family or friends who stay someplace else. A short trip may work wonders for you.

6. MEDITATION

Meditation is considered the lucky key to soothing your body. People often meditate to keep themselves healthy and also to avoid feeling stressed out. Once you start meditating, your body relaxes itself and takes all your pain away. You find yourself connecting with god which lets you imagine that all the negative vibes are fading away and making way for all good things to come. It’s actually effective and truly worth a shot.

5. RESORT TO WRITING

You must have heard of many people being into a habit of maintaining a personal diary of their own where they jot down all the happenings of life. Well, this sure is a good habit. If you’ve never given it a try, do it now. Write down all that is troubling you at present. Just scribble your heart out and see how it feels. When you pour down your feelings in the form of words, you’ll feel satisfied deep inside. It’s almost like a chat with your own self. Also it’s a pretty decent way of dealing with tough things.SMILE

Smile is that curve that straightens things out. Isn’t it true? Doesn’t it feel great to smile even when things seem to be falling apart? Even if you think that things will never be back to what they were, you don’t have to give up on yourself. Just smile for at least making yourself feel better. You don’t need a reason to smile. You have hundreds of them. Look around you and I’m sure you’ll at least get one.

3. TAKE A NAP

When things don’t seem to work in your favor, you pretty much stress yourself out, don’t you? You feel all let down and broken. Thereafter you start compromising with the peace of your mind. You shouldn’t be so hard with yourself. Allow yourself to relax a bit and figure things out. Therefore, just lie down and take a long nap that you necessarily need. Take sufficient sleep so that you are able to take rest. When you wake up after that, you’ll feel more better than what you had been feeling earlier.

2. PATIENCE

This is an imperative quality that everyone must be born with because it is often required and especially at times like these. You must be patient when things are not going your way. Remember that god has everything planned for you and this not going to last long. Hard times don’t stay forever. They are followed by worthy things. Hold yourself up and don’t break from within. Keep telling yourself that” I can do this”. Nothing can shatter you once you follow this mantra.

1. FOCUS ON THE LESSON

All the situations in life be it good or bad always teach you something or the other. You need to concentrate on the lesson that it teaches you. This type of mindset can even help you improve your mindset and change the way you interpret things. Focusing on the lesson allows you to work on the positive things and will make you feel empowered instead of deflated.
