    Pardon me if I make a constructive criticism rather than a whine along the lines of “Why isn’t my favorite sport listed?” I disagree with basketball being a “rich man’s game.” If there’s a park with a basketball court set up, the only equipment you need is the ball. If there isn’t a court set up, it doesn’t take a lot of money to get a basket erected. For this reason, basketball has a greater potential to spread than sports like cricket, basketball, or even American football. I won’t argue with cricket’s numbers, but if basketball isn’t the world’s second most popular sport now, I think the time is coming when it will be.
