Astrologically, people that were born in January and most likely ruled by Saturn and are Capricorns, a combination that provides them with long-lasting diligence, strength and a determined fervor unmatched by people born under other sunsigns ruled by other planets.

Astrology and superstition aside, there were several popular noteworthy figures who left an impact on people in the different fields they mastered. They inspired, achieved, persevered and all with their January born grace (or so I’d like to think because I’m January-born as well).

You might scoff at him being mentioned or even making this list but you won’t know until his inspirational story of success hits the spotlight. He isn’t just a handsome face and a flexible, graceful dancing body that delights you on the silver screen, he was an ordinary man whose path to success was obtained by breaking down several barriers (mostly health concerns) that obstructed him.

During an intimate interview, he revealed his childhood problem with oral speech and a prominent stutter that made him insecure, anxious and humiliated. He eventually took speech therapy to fix his issue.

He had a brain surgery in 2013 as well as issues with a shin splinter in 2014, which caused him to forsake many commercial projects like “Shuddhi” coming his way. His life hasn’t been a cakewalk but he still deals and gets by as being one of Bollywood’s most successful celebrities.

Slowly and steadily, Elijah has been able to ingrain himself as a essential and indispensable part of the LOTR series.

He displayed an interest in acting since he was in elementary school, bagging important roles in The Sound of Music and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

An overachiever in her own stead, Betty White is an American comedian, actress, singer, author, singer, producer and television personality. At 92 years of age, she is still inexhaustible with multiple movies to her name.

She won the Britannia Award at the BAFTA Awards in 2010 for the category Excellence in Comedy. She also won the Lifetime Achievement award in 2009 and we can affirm that it was in good taste and well-deserved.
